Brief Bio :

My stories are alive with humor, sprinkled with love, and woven with my unique expressive style of performance poetry. I enjoy exposing audiences of all ages to different cultures and diverse customs, and I love encouraging interactive participation. I use my voice, my expressive facial gestures, and my body movements to enhance the messages within my stories. My years of working with Chicago Public Schools and community groups have given me tremendous insight into the power of story. I’m happy to now share that experience with venues throughout Chicagoland. Join me as I take you on a journey to inspire creativity and to awaken your imagination. Together we will explore life’s lessons.

Are you looking for a storyteller to share stories from the African American experience? You've come to the right place! ASE members tell at schools, festivals, museums, libraries, colleges, and at special events all over Chicagoland. Many are also available for programs throughout the United States.
ASE Storytellers have chosen to advertise on this site. They have stated that the information on their pages is accurate and true. They further acknowledge that they are independent contractors and are not necessarily representatives of ASE. The exception to this would be if an authorized ASE officer secures a group performance contract.
We recommend you check references before committing to a contract with any performer. Fees and experience may vary widely.
