Brief Bio :

Patricia "Serenity" Redd welcomes you to a place where stories are told, with lessons to hold as wisdom unfolds. Serenity tells tales of yesterday, transforming tomorrows with whimsy through folk, cultural and spiritual stories. She has captivated diverse audiences of all ages with style and grace, bringing stories to life- delighting all within her presence. Her stories are supported with the melodious tones of a voice that can tickle your funny bone or inspire the very essence of serenity.

As both educator and administrator, Serenity has reached thousands since 1993 realizing her goal in life: sharing the gift of stories.

Are you looking for a storyteller to share stories from the African American experience? You've come to the right place! ASE members tell at schools, festivals, museums, libraries, colleges, and at special events all over Chicagoland. Many are also available for programs throughout the United States.
ASE Storytellers have chosen to advertise on this site. They have stated that the information on their pages is accurate and true. They further acknowledge that they are independent contractors and are not necessarily representatives of ASE. The exception to this would be if an authorized ASE officer secures a group performance contract.
We recommend you check references before committing to a contract with any performer. Fees and experience may vary widely.
