It’s All About Culture – Annual Storytelling Fundraiser
ASE: The Chicago Association of Black Storytellers invites you to an unforgettable afternoon of stories, rhythm, and cultural expression at our annual storytelling fundraiser. This year’s theme, “It’s All About Culture,” celebrates the rich traditions and vibrant voices of the Black storytelling community.

Our 2025 concert will feature the dynamic Teju the Storyteller as our Special Guest Artist, joined by an incredible lineup of performers including:

  • Maxine Washington

  • Omiyale DuPart – Mistress of Ceremony

This celebration will also include the presentation of the Gwendolyn A. Hilary Tradition Keeper Award, honoring dedication to preserving the art of storytelling.
